How many more Muggles have to die before we bring in the fucking Muggle police to protect their citizenry? Merlin, we have a whole department dedicated to Muggle-worthy Excuses and they're only being used after the bloody fact! The idea that we can patrol and protect a population of 56 million all on our own is dangerously absurd and unless we can somehow manage to quadruple our forces, we're only bailing out the ship with a teaspoon. We need help.

Aine or Calypso?

Any changes? Is he being more strange?

[Warded to Cedric]

Pop over and see Bill if you get a chance. He was quite strange today. Didn't remember Mum and Dad were murdered.

When is the appointment with the midwife? Did you get it for one of my day's off?

Also, did you sort out what's going on with Fabian?

So, I reckon if we don't start telling everyone other than family you're pregnant, they're going to cotton on soon.

Picture of maturity right here.

I may have the emotional range of a teaspoon, but I'm trying.

So, I was thinking for Ron's First Birthday the Longbottoms, the Diggorys, Rosie, the Potters, family of course, the Tonks, Graham, the Scrimgeours... your turn.

I don't normally speak ill of the press since my mother used to be one of them, but that last issue was the worst load of bollocks I've ever had the misfortune to read. Anyone who believes any of that should have their head examined for Confundus or concussion. This one is definitely going to the Owlery.

Move this up the chain, eh? It's a pretty good idea. Tutorial sessions for the public on how to defend themselves until the good guys arrive? I mean, I'd be willing to dedicate some off-hours to it.

Thank you again for the pricing on the windows - I just got the last one this evening and installed it. Really, I can't heap enough appreciation upon you too. I am absolutely in your debt.

I miss the 60's. I had more energy then, the world seemed brighter, broader...

Of course it's evening in the middle of winter.

The boys are finally asleep and this seemed the sort of melancholia that would set well with some music. Bloodstone's Natural High with that opening slamming of the drums, beating into your chest to break it open with that soaring chorus, that first breath of love at first sight. The Isley Brothers' For The Love Of You swaying rhythm with the flute in the background. Ray Charles' Georgia On My Mind. Etta James' At Last. The Miracles' Oo Baby Baby. And then, the grand finale for the evening - Procol Harem's Whiter Shade of Pale. Gnhuhnsn. Hm. I do feel less weighted.

Good night and good luck, everyone.

I'm going to work all day today and then, Gideon is coming over to watch the kids. You and I are going to Camden and are going to see a show by a band called Pride. Don't worry, I already told Gideon he couldn't bring Miriam with him.

I've got to stop reading these replies to the Unforgiveables announcement. I am every time overcome with desire to argue and every time I put pen to page, I just get frustrated.

At this point, I'm sure my time would be infinitely better spent either fireproofing the upholstery, reading to Percy or improving the levitation charm on Charlie's broomstick. Who am I kidding -- all of the above.

Fireworks and babies do not mix. I don't think Ron has ever been this irritable and I'm sure he didn't sleep last night to punish us for the loud noises. On the same token, I don't think Fred and George have ever been happier than they were last night - they're still wearing their paper hats and laughing furiously in their little language.

Our little Sagittarius is furious that he's missed the cut off for school this year, but I'm not. One more year for all of us to be together.

I do have such grand hopes for this year.
